Coach Meehan or as most of us called him "Meehan" devoted 32 years to the Brighton Girls Cross Country program.  He developed and created teams that made an impact over three decades.  He was named Coach of the Year by MITCA in 1979, 1980, 1983 and 2002.  He was named Coach of the Year by MHSCA in 1980 and 1993.  Finally, he received the Kermit Ambrose Award in 2005.  Brighton Girls Cross Country runners have a tradition of success and this is due to Gary's time and love committed to developing great runners.
